In Jersey City, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in New Jersey, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.

No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. Jersey City is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Jersey City follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I bought a plant from them at a pop-up in Montclair. They have lots of gorgeous plants to choose from (I got a "lemon-lime prayer plant"). I like that they are very knowledgeable about what the plants need: they will advise you about which plants will suit your space in terms of light, watering, fertilizer, etc. They'll write out care instructions before you leave and they'll give you their website and socials in case you have more questions afterwards - they're really kind to plant newbies like me! Definitely check them out!

VERY knowledgeable and helpful. Especially since I came in as a brand new plant mom, she let me know what I’d be able to handle and what I might not, with my schedule, and the care for the plants. Best prices I have seen so far and quality is great as well. Coming from someone who was hospice for plants, the plants I got here are THRIVING and, like I said, I’m pretty new to the plant game. I’m very glad I found this cute store and that I am able to support local!
